This year’s Ingathering, held on November 20, will be dedicated to Lillian Wilson, the Central UMC member killed at her church while preparing cleaning buckets and health kits to bring to Annual Conference. We anticipate that the number of churches participating in Ingathering this year will increase and that there will be a number of local media outlets that will cover the event. A communication and event plan is being developed with Pat Bodenhamer, chair of the Conference Board of Global Ministries, the Rice Depot, and Conference Communications.
